In Colombia the best food is sold from a cart or a truck at night: hot dogs piled high, burgers with pineapple sauce and potato sticks, salchipapas, empanadas. GULA cooks that same food in Miami, from a black food truck with red umbrellas on NE 79th Street.
Everything is made to order. Our shredded chicken (pollo desmechado) is slow-cooked and tossed in GULA Sauce, our creamy house tartar. Our hot dogs start with a Nathan's beef frank and get mozzarella, crunchy papitas and pineapple sauce, like they do in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and Bucaramanga.
What to order if you miss Colombia
Start with El Parcero, the classic Colombian hot dog. If you came hungry, La Mixta puts shredded chicken on top of a beef patty, and La Exagerada is a mountain of loaded fries with steak, chicken and sausage to share.
Add empanadas de carne, pollo or queso, and a Colombiana soda. That is a Colombian dinner, ready in minutes.

Do you sell Colombian empanadas?
Yes. Beef, chicken or cheese empanadas, $3.99 each or 3 for $10.00, served with GULA Sauce.
